The guest of honour was Ashok Kumar, SDM, Patran. A total of 27 schools from across the Patiala region participated, competing in six cultural and creative events that reflected the rich heritage and vibrant traditions of Punjab. The competitions were adjudged by a panel comprising Gopal Sharma, renowned theatre artiste, Parminder Pal Kaur, theatre artiste and director, Kala Kritii, Patiala, Ashwani Bhardwaj, renowned artiste, Pargat Dullewal, singer, Nitin Suraan, singer and music composer, Jasjeet Singh, social influencer and performer, Pawanjeet Singh, professional bhangra coach, and Birinderjit Singh, cultural and wellness coach. In the Ramp Walk, Saint Mary School, Sanour, secured the first position, followed by DAV Public School, Patiala, and Mount Litera Zee School, sharing the second place, while Our Lady of Fatima Convent Secondary School standing third. In Slogan Writing, Saint Mary School, Sanour once again claimed the top position, followed by KSB World School, Patran, in the second place, and St Xavier’s International School, Patiala, along with Scholar Fields Public School, Patiala jointly in the third place. The Nukkad Natak event was won by Pepsu International School, Devigarh, with DAV Public School, Patiala as first runners-up and DAV Public School, Patran, along with Delhi Public School, Patiala, as second runners-up. In Folk Song, DAV Public School, Patiala, bagged the first place, followed by Mata Gujri Senior Secondary School, Devigarh, at second, while Bhupindra International School, Patiala, and St Xavier’s International School, Patiala, shared the third position. In Turban Tying, Ganga International School, Dhabi Gujran, secured the first position, Sparkling Kids, Patran, stood second and Mata Gujri Senior Secondary School, Devigarh, came third. The most captivating Folk Dance event saw Sparkling Kids, Patran, emerging as winners, followed by Dr BS Sandhu Memorial Public School, Julakkheri, and Pepsu International School, Devigarh, sharing the second place, while Bhupindra International School, Patiala, standing third. In the vote of thanks, Principal Dr Parminder Kaur and Chairman Dr Amritpal Singh Kaleka congratulated all winners and participants for their spirited performances and commended the efforts of staff and students for making the event a resounding success.
