Brookfield International School, Mohali, organised an informative and inspiring workshop for students of classes XI and XII from the Humanities and Commerce streams to explore career opportunities in the legal sector. The session aimed to provide students with a deeper understanding of potential career paths and to spark their interest in the field of law. The school invited Prof (Dr) Nisha Nair, Professor and Vice Dean (Admissions & Outreach Office) at Jindal Global Law School, OP Jindal Global University, as the keynote speaker. She explained key aspects of legal education and introduced students to promising career avenues in law. The workshop was further enriched by the presence of Prof Samanvi Narang, Lecturer and Assistant Dean (Admissions & Outreach) at JGLS, who contributed meaningfully to the discussions. During the session, students gained a comprehensive understanding of career prospects after studying law, insights into the CLAT examination and preparation strategies, essential skills required to become a successful lawyer and pathways leading to advocacy and litigation. The workshop was not only educational but also highly motivating, preparing students to shape their future in the legal domain. The school honoured Prof (Dr) Nisha Nair and Prof Samanvi Narang for their valuable contributions and for inspiring the students.
