YouTuber challenge for kids

Youtube is today the largest source of content in the world and its biggest audience starts right from the age of 6. Children are one of the biggest consumers of YouTube. They are watching various content on this platform, following influencers, and are subconsciously picking up cues on how to speak, present, and build engaging content. Uable, an online life skill development platform for kids has come out with a unique challenge for kids that encourages children to go beyond being passive consumers of this content and START becoming ACTIVE creators of content with its ‘ULTIMATE YOUTUBER CHALLENGE’.

Uable is inviting young and aspiring YouTubers to share their thoughts and opinions with the world. Kids can review a toy, book, movie, food item and submit their video review, with all their ideas and feedback and a chance to win exciting prizes. The final objective of this fun challenge is to enable children with critical life-skills such as ideation, creative thinking, presentation skills, and overall communication.

About the Challenge: The challenge is for any child between the ages of 6 and 16. Each child is required to submit a video (1-4 minutes long) review of a product that they have either used or experienced (Ex: Book/toy or game/ movie or cartoon/electronic gadget that they own).

Judging Criteria: Communication: How do you describe the product?

Creativity: The attention to detail given when presenting the product

Critical Thinking: Why is the reviewed product good or bad?
