Instagram, the Meta-owned app, experienced a brief disruption on Tuesday, with some users reporting problems sending and receiving messages before services were restored.

According to Downdetector, thousands of users flagged issues with the platform during the disruption. Most users reported difficulties with the app, while some also had troubles with the website and server connection.

However, the disruption appeared to be temporary. By the time many users checked the platform later, Instagram services were functioning normally again.
