CHANDIGARH: Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir played out a goalless draw on the second day of the 69th National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy at Guru Gobind Stadium in Jalandhar.

Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir played out a goalless draw on the second day of the 69th National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy at Guru Gobind Stadium in Jalandhar.

In another match, Delhi trounced Himachal Pradesh 4-0. Abhishek Rawat scored the first goal in the 21st minute. In the 36th minute, Delhi succeeded in scoring the second goal when Sonu gave a well measured pass to Deepak Devrani, who netted home the goal. In the second- half, Delhi dominated the proceedings and Deepak Mehra (55 min) scored the third goal. Three minutes later, Abhay Rana fired in the fourth goal. Tomorrow, Punjab take on UP while Uttarakhand will face Chandigarh in Group A fixtures. — TNS
