Ludhiana to host 73rd Santosh Trophy

Ludhiana: The 73rd edition of the National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy will be held at the Guru Nanak Stadium here from April 8 to 21.



Ludhiana: The 73rd edition of the National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy will be held at the Guru Nanak Stadium here from April 8 to 21. Ten teams — the top-two teams from each zone — will be seen in action during the championship, said Harjinder Singh, former India international and honorary secretary, Punjab Football Association. The league stage will be played from April 8 to 17 and two teams from each group will make it to the semifinals (April 19). The final will be held on April 21. The winners will receive Rs 5 lakh, while the runners-up will get Rs 3.5 lakh. — OC
