Golfer Aditi Ashok secures T-10 finish

Indian golfer Aditi Ashok played a bogey-free final round of 2-under 69 to finish tied-10th at the Didriksons Skafto Open here.

The 23-year-old three-time LET winner, finished at 4-under 203 at the par-69 course but would be disappointed at not being able to convert more birdies.

She shot rounds of 72-64-67. Meanwhile, Vani Kapoor finished T-38 with rounds of 71-69-73.

Sharma fades in Switzerland

Crans Montana: Shubhankar Sharma’s hopes of a good top-10 finish were dashed early in the final round as the Indian golfer carded a 6-over 76 at the European Masters here.

The 25-year-old dropped six shots in a three-hole stretch with a double-bogey-triple bogey–bogey from second to fourth. He never recovered and slipped from T-7 to a disappointing T-50 with a total of 1-under 279. Rasmus Hojgaard became a three-time European Tour winner after his bogey-free 63. — PTI
