New Delhi, June 29
Former Delhi cricketer Sanjay Dobal has died at age 53 due to Covid-19. Dobal, who later turned to coaching, is survived by his wife and two sons, both of whom are cricketers.
“Dobal showed symptoms and was first admitted to a medical facility in Bahadurgarh a week back. He had tested positive for Covid-19. However, his condition deteriorated and he was shifted to a Dwarka hospital with better facilities. He was given plasma treatment but it didn’t work,” a DDCA official said. — TNS
