The Indian women’s football team suffered a 1-0 loss to Uzbekistan in their first friendly match as the home team’s Maftuna Shoyimova struck in the 87th minute.
While both sides created several scoring opportunities, Uzbekistan found the back of the net with a late free-kick by Maftuna to grab the bragging rights.
