The 42-year-old Chawrasia, who had successfully fought against Covid-19 in August, was tied-21st. Shubhankar Sharma (71) was tied-46th and Gaganjeet Bhullar (75) was tied-83rd. Spaniard Adrian Otaegui shot a 10-under 62 to lead by three shots.
