Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat wins gold medal in women's 53 kg category at Commonwealth Games in Birmingham

27-year-old Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat has clinched Gold medal in 53 kg category at Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

She won gold after defeating her opponents Samantha Stewart, Mercy Bolafunoluwa and Chamodya Keshani Maduravalage Don in 3 matches in the Nordic System group.

This is her 3rd gold in Commonwealth Games she played so far.
