Chennai, April 17
Mumbai Indians defended a seemingly modest total of 150 against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the ninth match of IPL-14, winning by 13 runs here tonight.
Mumbai elected to bat first and reached 150 courtesy a 22-ball 35 by Kieron Pollard, who ensured the team added 35 runs in the last three overs.
Hyderabad started strongly, David Warner (36 off 34 balls) and Jonny Bairstow (43 off 22) adding 67 runs in 7.2 overs. But no other batsman could hang around to finish the job. — TNS
