A Treat to the Lepers

AS in the previous years, we gladly make room for the touching appeal which the Rev. E. Guilford, the indefatigable Honorary Superintendent of the Tarn Taran leper asylum, makes on behalf of inmates. He is anxious to be enabled to give the unfortunate suffering people under his charge a real treat during the coming Christmas, and would be glad if some gifts of cloth can be made in addition for their benefit. We need hardly say that this call is one that should go to the hearts of all without any distinction of class or creed and bring a substantial response in the difficult circumstances of the present times.
