Another difficulty suggested by the Leader is as regards the proposed deputation to England. What will happen, asks out contemporary, if the moderate leaders are not asked to join the Congress deputation or being asked to express their inability to join it in view of the existing differences of opinion? We asked this question ourselves, and answered it. Why cannot the Congress appoint a joint deputation of both wings and leave it to each individual member, after he has put the Congress point of view, to put the point of view of the party to which he specifically belongs? It would not be impossible to do this if our suggestion that the united Congress of both wings, organised on the basis of agreement, should be followed by party conferences organised on the basis of differences.
