CALCUTTA, September 10 (PTI, UNI)—The Soviet Prime Minister, Mr. Alexei Kosygin, said here today that the main idea behind the Asian Security plan was to unite the peace-loving forces in South-East Asia not for war, but for the preservation of peace in this region. Such unity of the peace-loving forces would be a great danger for the aggressors, who might try to disturb peace, he said. Mr. Kosygin was talking to newsmen during his 90-minute stopover at Dum Dum airport on his way back home from Hanoi after attending the funeral services for President Ho Chi Minh. Mr. Kosygin conveyed his greetings to the people of India and said that the friendship that had developed between India and the Soviet Union was one of the most important things for peace on earth. Everyone should try to cherish this friendship, he said.
