Did Kangana Ranaut sell Pali Hill bungalow for Rs 32 crore? Real estate video sparks speculation
Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has reportedly sold her Pali Hill (Bandra, Mumbai) bungalow.
As per a report by Zapkey, the actress sold this controversial property for Rs 32 crore recently, which she had reportedly bought for Rs 20.7 crore in September 2017.
She also took out a Rs 27 crore loan from ICICI Bank against the property in December 2022. The bungalow was used as the office for her production house, Manikarnika Films.
A YouTube page, by the name Code Estate, had also shared a video claiming that a production house office is up for sale last month. The name of the production house and the owner were not revealed, but from the photos and visuals one could tell it belonged to Kangana.
The property had come under the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) scanner in 2020. In September 2020, the BMC had demolished parts of Kangana’s office in Bandra citing illegal construction. The demolition work was stopped midway after a stay order from Bombay High Court on September 9. Kangana filed a case against BMC and even demanded Rs 2 crores for compensation from BMC but dropped her demands in May 2023.
