Actor Rashmika Mandanna has issued a strong statement condemning the circulation of an alleged old audio clip involving her mother, describing it as a “serious invasion of privacy” and warning that legal action will be taken if the content is not removed.

The controversy erupted after an audio clip, reportedly featuring Rashmika’s mother Suman Mandanna, began circulating widely on social media.

The clip is believed to date back to 2018 and is linked to the period when Rashmika ended her engagement with Kannada actor and filmmaker Rakshit Shetty.

The issue gained further attention as it surfaced just weeks after Rashmika’s widely discussed marriage to actor Vijay Deverakonda.
