India: Over 280 flights cancelled amid West Asia conflict

Even as the Iran-US-Israel conflict entered its sixth day on Thursday, flight disruptions continued to impact the India’s airports.

“A total of 281 flights scheduled to operate today by Indian domestic carriers have been cancelled. A dedicated Passenger Assistance Control Room is functioning 24×7 to provide real-time passenger support. A total of 1,461 grievances have been addressed,” said the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

At Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, 18 arriving and 22 departing flights were cancelled, while Bengaluru airport reported 14 arrivals and 16 departures cancelled. Sources said only close to 50 flights per hour were currently being allowed to operate through the affected airspace.
