IAS officer Tina Dabi is making headlines once again after her reaction to a woman sarpanch’s impressive speech in fluent English went viral.

The incident took place during a function in Barmer, Rajasthan, where Dabi, who was recently appointed as the District Collector, was the guest of honour.

In the viral video, sarpanch Sonu Kanwar, dressed in traditional Rajasthani attire, confidently addressed the audience in English, leaving everyone, including Dabi, visibly impressed. “I am glad to be part of this day. First of all, I welcome our collector Tina ma’am. Being a woman, it’s an honour to welcome Tina ma’am,” the sarpanch said. She proceeded to talk about water conservation. Her speech drew applause from the crowd and admiration from Dabi, who was astonished by Kanwar’s language skills.
