Apparently, a dress made from a 'cardboard shipping box' is going viral on social media and the design was being linked to the luxury brand. However, the images turned out to be fake and AI generated.

In no time the pictures spread like wildfire. And with celebrities like Megan Fox and Robert Pattinson appearing to wear the dress, it looked even more real.

However, the truth is that the dress does not exist. The images were made using AI and were shared by an Instagram account @celebsimulation.

One of the posts read, “Fashion just took a wild turn. What looks like a simple cardboard shipping box has been transformed into a high-fashion statement piece, allegedly priced at $8,900 (which is about Rs 8.24 lakh)."

Netizens react:

A user joked, “When you take your job at Amazon way too serious." Another wrote, “So this is why my Amazon is always late."

A third reacted, “People stupidly support it even though they know it’s just wrong."  Another commented. “Omg with first it was a yellow trash bag… now this?"
