Punjabi actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh has once again grabbed headlines with his latest track “Tension Mitra Nu Hai Ni”. While many fans are grooving to the upbeat number, a section of the internet has criticised the song saying that it is made for children.

An Instagram user, Brown Munde TV, shared a video of the song. The text on the video read, “Bro, make songs for 12-year-old kids,” while the caption took a jab at the singer’s performance, saying, “Why is he jumping like this? Come on, bro, you’re 41.”

Reacting to the post, a social media user wrote, “What average lyrics are these.” Another added, “Your silly jokes are better than this song.” A user even joked, “ChatGPT makes more sensible songs.”

Despite the criticism, Diljit’s loyal fanbase defended him. A fan wrote, “The music is great and fun. Why this criticism?” Another said, “He makes me proud when he represents Punjabi people.” A third fan commented, “It’s true that with success comes jealousy from mediocre people!”
