A porter, or ‘coolie’, at an unknown railway platform recently made headlines for going far beyond the usual call of duty, as captured in a viral video circulating on social media.

The video, originally shared by Instagram handle @strictlyforwomenofficial and later reposted on X, has gained 2.5 million views. It shows a crowded railway platform. Amid the chaos, the coolie, dressed in his red shirt and white pants, lifts passengers into the train through an emergency window.

In the clip, the porter is seen helping a woman climb into the train followed by a young man, both entering through the emergency window, which lacks bars unlike other windows. He then pushes a large suitcase through the same window. Not stopping there, the porter lifts another woman into the train. The video also captures the coolie transferring two more bags.
