Pinky's journey to this moment began three months ago when she visited the Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan and received a gold ring as prasad. She interpreted this as a divine sign from Lord Krishna himself, accepting her as his bride. Her devotion deepened, and she decided to dedicate her life to worship, meditation and spiritual service.

The villagers rallied around Pinky, playing the role of her family and ensuring the wedding was a memorable one. Her brother-in-law, Indresh Sharma, even symbolically became the "baraati" for Lord Krishna. Pinky's father, Suresh Chandra Sharma, initially struggled to understand her decision but eventually supported her, recognising her unwavering faith.

Pinky's life has transformed completely since the ceremony. She has renounced worldly concerns and committed herself to a path of devotion, saying she wishes to remain immersed in Krishna's love and guidance. Villagers have affectionately started calling her "Meera," comparing her devotion to that of the saint Meera Bai.
