Garba on Great Wall of China? Indian tourists draw attention yet again

From dancing on airport tarmacs to a Swiss hotel reportedly displaying a notice for Indian guests regarding their behaviour, Indians have found themselves at the centre of several viral controversies in recent weeks.

Now, another video has grabbed attention on social media, showing a group of Indian tourists performing garba on the iconic Great Wall of China. Set to the popular song Chogada from the movie Loveyatri, the clip captures the visitors enthusiastically dancing at the historic landmark.

The video has since sparked widespread discussion online.

Netizens react:

A user wrote, "Gujarati and their obsession with doing garba everywhere thinking it makes them look cool. But, with no hate, this habit makes Gujaratis a hated specimen and is one of the reasons for racial abuse against Indians."

Another commented, "These people only remember their culture and their patriotism once they are on foreign soil."

A third reacted, "Looking at their dresses, it seems they went there to dance, not to visit the Great Wall of China or learn anything about it or experience the history attached to it. Cringe."

Others, however, defended the group and viewed the performance more positively.

One said, "Let people have their fun, even if they do." Another wrote, "So? Are they hurting other people?"
