West Bengal’s political heat has taken a hilarious turn, with Mamata Banerjee once again trending, this time for her iconic “humba humba bumba bumba” moment.

The phrase, originally used by Banerjee to mock former colleagues who had switched to the BJP back in 2021, has made a full comeback online, with memes flooding social media.

Netizens are having a field day. One user wrote, “Didi bye-bye,” while another quipped, “अब ममता दीदी विपक्ष में बैठ कर humba humba करेंगी 😂.”

In another viral video, people are seen dancing on the streets to a remix of the now-famous chant. The clip, widely shared, carries captions like, “Hass hass ke pet dukhne laga… never imagined people of Bengal would dance to ‘Humba Humba’ remix!”

The comment section is equally entertaining. One user said, “Oh boy! Bengalis are really living it up,” while another joked, “Iska copyright register karva lo, nahi to Mamata FIR kar degi 😂.”

A third added, “Trust me, this song will trend like wildfire in Bengal 😅, ab shaadiyon mein bhi yehi bajega!” while someone else wrote, “Feeling very sad… kaash main waha hota dance pe!”

Adding to the meme storm, an AI-generated spoof of Titanic is doing the rounds, featuring Narendra Modi and Banerjee recreating the iconic pose, before a dramatic push by Modi. The song ‘My Heart Will Go On’ is kept as the background music, giving even more powerful emotions.

Users couldn’t stop laughing here either. One commented, “Aur zyada memes mat nikalo… has has ke coma mein chala jaunga,” while another joked, “Behen thoda ruk ja, abhi Mamata ne resign nahi diya!” Yet another added, “Hopefully that’s Bay of Bengal!”

From rallies to remixes, Bengal’s elections have clearly sparked not just political debate—but a full-blown meme carnival online.
