Aaj Tak's senior TV journalist, Anjana Om Kashyap, is under fire for her channel's incorrect reporting of Bollywood veteran Dharmendra's death. The news, which was quickly debunked by Dharmendra's family, has sparked widespread criticism and trolling on social media.

The backlash took a disturbing turn when fake posts and videos claiming Anjana Om Kashyap's own death started circulating online. One viral reel showed a person mourning in front of her poster, adorned with a funeral garland. While some netizens supported the trolling, others condemned it, saying "two wrongs don't make a right".

The Instagram video, shared by @pramodkicomedy, has garnered 26.2 million views.

Dharmendra's family, including Hema Malini and Esha Deol, has slammed the media for spreading false news, urging respect for the actor's privacy. Sunny Deol has also threatened to take legal action against the media outlets involved.
