In Delhi’s Najafgarh, a woman’s attempt to shoot a social media reel and instead landing into an open drain, has forced people to think about the growing risks associated with content creation and chasing viral content blindly.

The 22-year-old woman, who says her aim was to raise awareness about the poor condition of the area, was filming a video when the accident took place.

According to Bhavna, she lost her balance and fell straight into the gutter.

Fortunately, a Delhi Police patrol van was passing through the area at the time, when the officers reportedly heard her cries for help and sprung into action. A video later shared by the Delhi Police shows one officer lowering a rope into the drain and carefully pulling her out to safety.
