Loyal dog chases ambulance carrying ailing owner to hospital, see what happens next
As the saying goes that dogs are man’s best friend and one of their closest companions, a touching video proving the same has recently gone viral on social media.
The 27-second video clip shared by a user on X has so far accumulated over 12 million views. It shows a loyal dog chasing an ambulance carrying his ailing owner to the hospital.
“A dog was running after the ambulance that was carrying their owner. When the EMS realized it, he was let in”, reads the caption of the post on X.
According to reports, initially the medics did not allow the canine to ride inside the ambulance due to health policies and hygienic safety. But as the caring dog started chasing the ambulance, which was making its way through the hospital, a compassionate medical staff stopped it mid-way upon noticing the animal.
The staff member then opened the ambulance door and allowed the desperate dog to accompany its owner.
