Man forcibly kisses co-passenger on train; proceeds to defend himself
A man was peacefully sleeping on his train berth when another passenger approached him—not to ask for space or assistance, but to do the unthinkable. He suddenly kissed him forcefully in front of the other passengers. The man, in shock, confronted the attacker, who casually replied that he did it because he “liked it.”
The outraged passenger then stood up and began recording the incident. The video has since gone viral on social media.
“I was sleeping on the train, and this man kissed me without my consent in front of everyone. When I confronted him, he nonchalantly said, ‘I liked it, so I did it.’ His wife is now defending him, saying, ‘Let it go, it’s no big deal,’” says the man as he records the harasser.
He continued, “I’m not letting this slide. If this had happened to a woman, everyone would have spoken out. What if this had been his wife?”
At this point, the accused interjected, calling it a “mistake.”
The victim reiterated that had this happened to a woman, people would have rallied around her. Despite others urging him to move on, he refused to back down. He then turned the camera toward the aisle, showing passengers who stood by silently.
He demanded, “Call the police!”
After a tense exchange, the victim tried to pull the accused from his seat, but his wife stepped in, begging him to let it go. She began crying as she tried to protect her husband.
The victim then slaps the accused multiple times, repeatedly asking his wife to step aside.
While many denounced the incident as shocking and unacceptable, others emphasized the need for stronger support systems for victims.
