Muhammad Ali Jinnah's great-great-granddaughter Ella Wadia makes Paris debut

Ella Wadia, the great-great-granddaughter of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, has made her debut at the prestigious Le Bal des Débutantes 2025 in Paris. Ella, a member of the influential Wadia business family, walked the red carpet in a stunning Elie Saab couture gown.

This exclusive event, which began in 1958 as the Crillon Ball, celebrates glamour, philanthropy and the formal debut of debutantes into high society. Ella's participation adds to India's strong presence at the international event, following in the footsteps of Rysa Panday, daughter of Bollywood actor Chunky Panday, who debuted at Le Bal in 2024.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Ella's great-great-grandfather, was a pivotal figure in South Asian politics, serving as Pakistan's first Governor-General after the 1947 partition.
