'Olaf just melted': The snowman from 'Frozen' topples, loses carrot nose during debut walk

Chinese robot aren’t the only ones experiencing malfunction. Turns out, a Disney character’s walking debut at Disneyland Paris didn’t go as planned.

Olaf, from the movie Frozen, froze — literally — and then toppled over, Variety reported.

In no time, gasps of shocks were heard from parents and children alike.

The incident occurred during the robot's debut at the park's new Frozen-themed area. The three-foot-tall robot’s carrot nose also detached and rolled away. The malfunction was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media.

Disneyland staff could be seen scurrying away with the brand new robot just moments later.

"Olaf just melted... literally," the caption of TikTok video, shared by Belgian Disney fan site Magic Tour Club caption, read. "We didn't expect THIS to happen at Disneyland Paris. Someone get this snowman an ice bath ASAP."

The Olaf robot, developed by Disney's Imagineering team, uses AI and robotics to move freely in the premises. It also interacts with guests.
