On Sunday, India handed New Zealand a crushing 96-run defeat at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, to become the only team to win the T20 World Cup thrice and the first to defend the title successfully.

And with this, the team was clearly over the moon and in a celebratory mood after lifting the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 trophy.

However, it was left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh who did what he does best of all — make reels to capture the moment.

The India and Punjab seamer shared one with wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan on Instagram. The clip has garnered 5.3 million likes so far.

Kishan, who was born in Bihar before shifting to Jharkhand for his early cricket development, yelled alongside Arshdeep, “Ek Bihari sab pe bhari!!." As Arshdeep said, “paaji, Ek Bihari?", Kishan completed the proverb, “sab pe bhari!!"

Even Swiggy, India’s leading e-commerce food delivery platform, hailed Kishan with a comment that did not go overlooked. “Litti Chokha power," Swiggy mentioned in their remark for Kishan after he made the Bihar reference.

Another said, “Jiya ho Bihar ke lala (live long, the son of Bihar)." A third reacted, “Jai Bihar, Jai Bihari (Hail Bihar, Hail the Biharis)."
