Patna-based educator and YouTuber Khan Sir, also known as Faisal Khan, is trending on social media after an old remark he made about 'dowry' resurfaced online.

In a 2025 interview with PTI, Khan Sir suggested that the cars received as 'dowry' after demanding the same should have pink number plates, similar to how commercial vehicles have yellow plates.

He said the idea was to show that the person driving the car had not bought it himself but received it from his in-laws.

User @meenusinghmua wrote, “Good idea—it reveals who needs dowry to afford things and who can stand on his own feet.”

Another user, @fitnesscoach_22, said, “Both are good if done with love and mutual respect! Dowry as gift and alimony as security.”

Another comment read: “For those arguing about alimony, bro! It is gender neutral—anyone can give it to anyone.”
