Annual day functions are among the most-awaited events during school days. Ranging from speeches to dance performances to skits to award ceremonies, the celebrations are quite an event to attend.

To reminicse about their student lives, a trio recently took netizens down memory lane by posting a video of “'90s annual day dance”.

In the now-viral chucklesome clip, three men can be seen grooving to AR Rahman’s popular song ‘Barso re megha’ from the movie ‘Guru’.

Below is the video:

The video hilariously captures how children try to coordinate their dance steps during performances and often get confused over the choreography.

In the clip shared by Hari Muniyappan on Instagram, one man can be seen being perplexed as to what is going on, one seems to be the know-it-all while the other tries to match up to the ‘central performer’.

They can be seen bumping into one another and trying to help the other out in the middle of the performace, a common sight during school dances.

The post has amassed over 20.6 million views and more than 1.9 million likes.

The rib-tickling video has received comments from actors as well.

Actors Esha Gupta and Gayathrie Shankar posted laughing emojis, while Priya Mani Raj called the video “hilarious”.

Several Internet users found the clip extremely funny and entertaining. A user wrote: “You took me back to my school days,” while another commented: "The way when he kicked the cloth that fell on the ground while dancing.”

A few others tagged their school friends.

Well, with the monsoon season in full swing, a dance performance on ‘Barso re’ is unavoidable for sure.
