Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasised on unity and warned people against division, saying, “I have already said. ‘Batoge toh katoge, ek rahoge toh nek rahoge (If you divide, you will be destroyed; if you stay united, you will thrive).”

CM Adityanath was addressing a gathering in Assandh, around 44 kms from the district headquarters, which was organised to seek votes for the party’s candidate Yogendra Rana.

“The nation will be empowered only when we stay united,” he emphasised.

CM Adityanath urged people to support the BJP for a third consecutive term to sustain the pace of progress.

“Bring BJP to power for third time to continue the pace of development. This is the only government which has developed the state in inclusive manner by keeping aside nepotism and corruption. It has provided jobs on merit basis,” he said.

Highlighting the achievements of the Union government led by PM Narendra Modi, he reflected on the transformation of India. CM Adityanath said that India has witnessed transformation over the last decade under the BJP’s leadership.

“We are fortunate to have seen the rise of new India—an empowered India. India in 2014 was plagued by lawlessness, with Haryana in the worst state. Today, things have drastically changed, and the state has shown way,” he asserted.

The chief minister spoke about the transformation in Haryana, particularly improvements in the sex ratio, which now exceeds 900 females per 1,000 males, a significant achievement compared to earlier times. He also criticised the Congress for its past failures, particularly regarding women’s safety.

CM Adityanath praised the BJP’s efforts in Haryana, highlighting the construction of a new medical university, which will affiliate several medical colleges, as an example of the state’s development under the BJP.

“Haryana has become a model of development, while it was plagued by corruption and poor governance under the previous government. The double-engine government has made all this possible,” he maintained.

CM Adityanath also criticised the Congress for its failure to build Ram temple, accusing the party of prioritising vote-bank politics. He slammed the Congress’s history of violence, referring to the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

“Congress will be brought to its knees by the people. If we stay united, no one can harm us,” he declared.

Highlighting Uttar Pradesh’s success, the chief minister said, “In the last seven years, there has not been a single riot in Uttar Pradesh.”

He accused the previous governments for promoting corruption and nepotism in Haryana.

Further attacking the BSP, CM Adityanath said, “The elephant (BSP symbol) is always hungry, and its hunger never ends.”

He warned that the Congress has a history of creating chaos, while the BJP, under CM Nayab Saini, is committed to accelerating development in Haryana.

Member of Parliament from Karnal Lok Sabha and former Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s picture missing from the backdrop of the rally, has fuelled speculation within political circles.

His picture has been absent from several key events in the region in recent times, even in the presence of senior BJP leaders. While no official explanation has been provided, the absence has led to rumours during Assembly elections.
