Director General, Indian Council for Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), Suresh Gairola has been appointed the country representative to the IUFRO International Council.
The IUFRO (International Union of Forest Research Organisations) is the global network, based in Austria, for forest science cooperation. It unites more than 15,000 scientists in almost 700 member organisations in over 110 countries. It works with the mission to advance research excellence and knowledge sharing, and to foster the development of science-based solutions. — TNS
