Expelled BSP leader Mohammad Shahzad on Tuesday accused BSP supremo Mayawati of humiliating him by expelling from the party for no rhyme or reason.
Addressing a press conference in Dehradun, former MLA Mohammad Shahzad said he had joined the BSP on invitation of BSP supremo Mayawati and wanted to make BSP a formidable force particularly in Hardwar district. “But now I have pledged to work against BSP tooth and nail and would oppose the party at every platform”, Shahzad told newspersons.
He said he would shortly form a social organization which oppose BSP not only in Uttarakhand but also in the neighbouring Uttar Pradesh districts of Bijnor and Saharanpur.
Responding to queries, Mohammad Shahzad denied joining the BJP or the Congress as of now. He, however, admitted that he did not know what future had in store for him.
Shahzad said it was wrong to brand him anti-Hindu as he had always respected his Hindu brethren. He also denied charges made by some BJP leaders that he was in habit of making anti-Hindu statements.
