Will seek help from all parties for SGPC poll: SAD (Taksali)

Patiala, February 28

SAD (1920) president and SAD (Taksali) leader Ravi Inder Singh today said people needed to get together to get control of the SGPC out of the hands of Akali Dal.

He said help could be sought from Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh as leaders in the Congress could help contestants in various cities on a personal level. He said they would seek help from all political parties for the upcoming SGPC elections, except for Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) of Simranjit Singh Mann.

Levying charges against former CM Prakash Singh Badal, he said the latter pushed senior leaders out of the party for his son Sukhbir Singh Badal. — TNS
