- The NHS Confederation said a back-up strategy, or “Plan B plus”, is required as preemptive action over winter
- The UK government has set out a Covid winter strategy, which focuses on building the population’s defences through vaccinations and other pharmaceutical interventions
- More measures could include introducing vaccine certificates and mandating people to wear masks in certain settings. PTI
