London: Humans may have reached their maximum limits for height, lifespan and physical performance, says a research that looked at 120 years worth of historical information.

Researchers from Paris Descartes University in France studied trends emerging from historical records, concluding there appears to be a plateau in the maximum biological limits for humans’ height, age and physical abilities. pti

Singapore exhibits 140 rare Indian artefacts

Singapore: An exhibition of some 140 Indian rare artefacts, some dating back to 5,000 years, opened here on Thursday. The highlight is a collection of artefacts from the Indus Valley Civilisation loaned by the National Museum of India. Around 15 expert craftspeople have been engaged from India to offer visitors an opportunity to witness ancient crafts being practiced up close through fortnightly demonstrations. PTI
