A couple in Canada heard that their two-storey house was about to be pulled down, so without wasting any time they decided to move it to a new location.

They used several boats to shift their dream house to the new location and it took them eight hours to do so.

According to reports, it wasn't possible to move the house through land due to several obstacles, including high-voltage powerlines.

Daniele Penney always wanted to live in the house with a gorgeous view of the bay and the Blow Me Down Mountains at McIvers. However, when she found out that the homeowner was planning to tear the house down, she decided to do something about it, CBC reported.

“It was the little green house on the point that I loved,” Penney told the news website. “I talked about it to my friends, my family. Everybody knew that my heart always belonged to this house.”
