ALMATY: Nursultan Nazarbayev, president of Kazakhstan, said on Tuesday he was resigning as the Central Asian nation''s leader after three decades in power.

ALMATY, March 19

Nursultan Nazarbayev, president of Kazakhstan, said on Tuesday he was resigning as the Central Asian nation's leader after three decades in power.

He made the comments in a televised address. Reuters
