Acid victim shows slight improvement

NEW DELHI: The 30-year-old woman doctor who had sustained burns injuries following acid attack on her yesterday has shown slight improvement, doctors treating her at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences said today.

The 30-year-old woman doctor who had sustained burns injuries following acid attack on her yesterday has shown slight improvement, doctors treating her at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences said today.
A senior resident doctor at Employees State Insurance (ESI) hospital, the victim with injuries to the right side of face and the right eye was rushed to the Dr Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences in AIIMS.
According to experts at AIIMS, her condition is being monitored and it takes time to assess the effect on vision.
