Major reshuffle in Chandigarh Police

CHANDIGARH: In a major reshuffle, the Chandigarh Police have transferred one Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) besides 19 Inspectors, eight sub-inspectors and one assistant sub-inspector here today.

In a major reshuffle, the Chandigarh Police have transferred one Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) besides 19 Inspectors, eight sub-inspectors and one assistant sub-inspector here today.

Satish Kumar, a DANIPS-cadre officer who was presently DSP (IRB), has been moved to the police control room (PCR).

With Inspector Bhupinder Singh given the charge of Station House Officer, Sector 31 police station, Inspector Ramdayal will be replacing him as the SHO, Sector 36 police station. Inspector Udaypal Singh is the new SHO, Sector 17 police station, and Inspector Ranjodh Singh has been given the charge of Sector 39 police station. Poonam Dilwari is the new SHO, Sector 26 police station, and Inspector Maninder Singh will replace Dilwari as the SHO, Sector 19 police station.

Inspector Kirpal Singh has been appointed as the SHO, Sector 34 police station, while Inspector Jasbir Singh is the new SHO, Mani Majra police station, and Inspector Dilsher Singh of the Sector 17 police station. Inspector Anokh Singh has been posted at the PCR, while Inspector Jaspal Singh has been given the charge of the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell. Inspector Gurmukh Singh has been posted at the Crime Branch.

Among the sub-inspectors, Baldev Kumar has been given the charge of the Burail police post, Ram Rattan has been posted at the Neelam post, Rohitash Kumar will look after the Mauli Jagran police post, Zile Singh is in charge of the Sector 49 police post, Jaspal Singh will look after the Palsora police post and Sukhjinder Singh has been appointed as the in-charge of the Daria police post.
