Vice-Prez opens photo exhibition

New Delhi, December 24

Vice-President M. Hamid Ansari today inaugurated a photo exhibition on freedom fighter Dr Mukhtar Ahmad Ansari on the occasion of his 134th birth anniversary. He was a co-founder of Jamia Millia Islamia.
Inaugurating the exhibition, the Vice-President said that Dr Ansari was a champion of the Hindu-Muslim unity. He had advocated the unity of both the communities during the freedom struggle.
The exhibition has about 50 rare photographs of several meetings of the freedom fighters.
