Fun games mark alumni meet at UBS

Chandigarh, December 24

University Business School (UBS), Panjab University (PU), today organised its annual alumni meet. The meet is organised every year to welcome its alumni and also to felicitate the silver jubilee batch.

Around 70 alumni from different batches with over 30 guests from the silver jubilee batch of 1987-89 turned up for the event. The function was inaugurated by PU Vice Chancellor Prof. Arun K. Grover. A video presentation was shown to take the alumni back to their college days.

It also acted as a forum for the current students at the UBS to interact with the guests through an alumni-student Interaction.

UBS students performed bhangra on the occasion. Games like tug of war and musical chair were also held. Another interesting activity was ‘message Writing’ where the alumnus wrote messages on the notice board near the UBS Auditorium reminiscing their old days and wishing luck to managers in making.

With an emphasis on social activities, ‘Plant a sapling’ drive was organised where the alumni from the 1989 batch planted a few trees around the UBS premises in order to do their bit towards preserving the environment.
