City shooters shine at nationals

Chandigarh, December 24

Shooters of DAV College, Sector 10, won medals in various events at the recently concluded 58th National Shooting Championship at Pune. International shooter Anjum Moudgil won an individual gold medal in the 10 m rifle junior women’s category while bagged a team bronze medal in the 10 m rifle women civilian championship. Hema KC bagged an individual bronze in the 10 m Air Rifle Senior Women’s National Championship and a silver in the 10 m Air Rifle Senior Women National championship. Meanwhile, Vinita Bhardwaj bagged team bronze in the 10 m Rifle Women Civilian Championship and a silver medal in the 10 m Rifle Junior Women Civilian Championship.
