LUDHIANA: Additional District & Sessions Judge MM Dhonchak, enquiry officer-cum-OSD Grouping, Punjab & Haryana High Court, has initiated a probe regarding irregularities in the lawyers’ chambers complex.

Additional District & Sessions Judge MM Dhonchak, enquiry officer-cum-OSD Grouping, Punjab & Haryana High Court, has initiated a probe regarding irregularities in the lawyers’ chambers complex.

He will enquire regarding the complaints of modifications in the lawyers’ chambers without the consent of the building committee of the Punjab & Haryana High Court. He will also conduct enquiry into the alleged illegal allotments in Lawyers Chambers Complex Part-2.

The inquiry officer has clarified in his notice that anyone desirous of giving any information on the subject matter may furnish information by way of affidavit.

Such affidavits may be filed at his office in Chandigarh from January 7 onwards till January 15. If any government official will provide any information, he need not to file affidavit, says public notice issued by him.

The enquiry was initiated following some complaints regarding modifications made by lawyers on their own.
