The Supreme Court denied urgent listing of a PIL seeking cancellation of the India-Pakistan T20 Asia Cup match. The petitioners, law students, argued the match, scheduled for September 14th in Dubai, contradicts national interest and public sentiment, especially following recent terror attacks.

The Pakistan Cricket Board faces revenue loss due to uncertainty surrounding the Asia Cup T20. They anticipate an 8.8 billion rupee shortfall if the event is disrupted. Concerns arise from resistance to a Dhaka meeting and India's unwillingness to participate, with UAE as a potential alternative.
