News, views and stories on Bhimber.
The first phase of the PoJK elections was overshadowed by violence, allegations of electoral malpractice and political clashes, with a Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) worker losing his life in Kotli district as voting was underway, Dawn reported.
PTI in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir accused the Anwar-led government of incompetence and repression as protests spread across Mirpur, Plandri, Bhimber and Dadyal. The party alleged state-backed firing injured four people and claimed thousands have joined sit-ins demanding basic rights.
The region's development has been severely hampered by corruption and inefficiency, with the local administration failing to deliver on its commitments. Despite agreements and protests, the people of PoJK continue to suffer from a lack of basic infrastructure and essential services.
